About Us

Medic Oncall began operating from Victoria, Australia, in 2001 in response to the need for a professional recruitment business to provide reliable locum services to hospitals and health services nationwide.

Started by two medical professionals, Medic Oncall is based on helping maintain optimal medical staffing levels in Australia and New Zealand. Medical roster management is our core business but as we have grown we’ve diversified into other fields, including administrative support.

As one of the longest established medical locum services in Victoria, we’ve grown to provide locum support to the Australian and New Zealand health industries operating 365 days a year. We also place medical practitioners in permanent roles.

We’re always working to improve our services and set new benchmarks, especially in the areas of quality service delivery and operational efficiency. Testament to this is our RCSA Service Delivery Standard certification and our ISO9001 certification.

Medic Oncall is the only medical recruiter in Australasia with both these certifications.

We are also members of the Association of Medical Recruiters Australia and New Zealand (AMRANZ) and the Australian Institute of Management (AIM).
