• To assist you in seeking suitable short term and long term employment placements;
• To keep you updated with available employment and other career opportunities.

2. What information does Medic Oncall gather about you?
The type of personal information we collect about you includes your name, email and postal address, phone numbers, employment history, medical and other qualifications, police and other checks, registration with Medical Boards and other work related information.

Sometimes we may collect sensitive information about you, such as details of your health or any criminal record that you may have.  When we collect sensitive information we will obtain your specific consent. 

There may be occasions when we obtain information about you from a third party.  This may include performance feedback about your work or reports from your nominated referees.

Your personal and sensitive information will always be collected by fair and lawful means.

3. How will Medic Oncall use and disclose personal information?
Medic Oncall will use candidate information in a way that is consistent with, or directly related to, the purpose for which it was collected, such as seeking short and long term employment. 

Medic Oncall may disclose this information to:

• Potential employers ie hospitals and general practice clinics;
• Referees;
• Statutory Authorities for the purposes of Working with Children Checks, Police Checks, etc
• Medical Boards.

4. Security of Personal and Sensitive Information
Personal and sensitive information may be stored electronically or in hardcopy.  Procedures are in place to protect the security of these records.

5. Making sure your information is accurate
If you inform Medic Oncall of changes in your information we will endeavour to update and correct your records.  Medic Oncall may also contact you or take other reasonable steps to ensure that your information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
